Remote-First Companies Roundup
With so many companies mandating their employees to return to the office, landing a fully remote job has started to feel like a modern-day treasure hunt—competitive, unpredictable, and requiring a keen eye for hidden opportunities.
In Buffer’s 2019 State of Remote Work report, 99 % of respondents stated they would like to work remotely, at least some of the time, for the rest of their career.
Given the demand for remote roles, I thought why not put together lists of companies that actively hire remotely exclusively for my subscribers.
While it would be easy to just pull together a generic list of remote-friendly companies, I want to give you something more valuable. So, instead of just dropping company names, I’ll include:
Glassdoor ratings;
details on their remote work policies;
domain of activity;
what kind of roles these are hiring;
This way, you’re not just seeing a list—you’re getting additional information to help you find the right fit.
To keep things digestible, we’ll focus on 5-10 companies at a time—quality over quantity.
This first post is open to everyone—but if you want to stay ahead of the game, subscribe to receive future updates. 📩
How often will I post these lists? That depends on the opportunities I find.
Since I work with hundreds of companies that hire remotely, I always have insights. However, many of these companies hire small batches of roles (1 to 10 positions) and often use Employer of Record (EOR) models. Many of the company I work with are either hybrid (for the locations where they have legal entity) and remote for the countries where they hire via EOR model.
But my focus is (at least for this first roundup) on fully remote companies—organisations that embrace it as part of their culture.
So, without further ado, here are the first list of 5 companies hiring remotely right now.
